Just How Good is YOUR Time Management?

This article examines the reasons the reason why time management remains an issue that is widespread and real and where to begin when seeking to make improvements

Who and Why?

Ask any person if they suffer from a time management problem And the reply is always very guarded, and generally not a commitment. Test this for yourself with someone you trust. Then ask the same question to yourself, and contemplate the response you would give. What is it about this that makes the reaction to be so cautious?

The answer is simple. More often than not people feel threatened by this query, not willing to acknowledge what they inwardly regard as an inability to master the most fundamental of life skills. Visit:- https://ooc.vn/

There could be an element of truth in this however I have yet to meet one who has never had a time management problem or believes that they consistently utilize their time to the maximum effectiveness. This poses a confounding question. Why is it that a skill we would be awestruck to master is an incredibly widespread flaw, and why only a few people actually take steps to correct it?

The issues of time management are so prevalent for individuals and individuals, the same is true for organisations and companies. Most of the time, the capabilities required to bring about substantial and long-lasting improvements are simply not available in the organisation where they are needed in part because the manager has his/her own challenges in this area.

This brings us to another dilemma. Why is it that businesses aren’t able to tackle this issue when developing better time management skills is perhaps the single best way to boost the effectiveness of your business and personal performance?

The Dreaded Cause

It is possible to implement time management improvements by using a variety of techniques and strategies. And most of them have substantial results. But this is only small-scale success since there is just one issue causing it – and it is this which you must tackle first.

What is the root of the problem? It’s simple, YOU!

A poor time management strategy is a choice. It’s really that easy and very clear. There is no hiding place.

Without addressing the fundamental issues which cause poor time management, it isn’t possible to create anything more than temporary improvements.

Awareness

The vast majority of people are aware of the potential to dramatically improve their time management, I’ve seen a handful of people who are aware of, or recognise their challenges quickly and understand just how much scope there is to make improvements. Even fewer realise the full potential effects that could be made on their businesses and lives by a better management of time.

The majority are aware that they could enhance their time management capabilities, but they’re not sure how to do it, or require assistance in defining their “shortcomings” in the process of figuring out how to improve their skills over time.

The characteristics that are a result of Poor Time Management

The ways in which people manage their time differs greatly – and it’s true to say that given the freedom to choose, there could be more ways to do this like there exist people. In any company where two or more individuals are working together, there will be some type of established systems that make it possible for that relationship to function.

However , it’s remarkable how systems are sabotaged, often unknowingly, due to ineffective organisation and ineffective time management. For this reason time management is inextricably linked to the nature of the work which are carried out and can never be improved substantially by simply dealing with personal matters such as To Do Lists or diary management. In the same way, task management cannot be significantly improved by concentrating exclusively on the type and value of individual tasks.

The most common solutions of time management issues begin by redefining objectives and aims, goals and targets, but do not tackle the root issues, and will not bring any lasting benefit.
